fun times in El Paso
okay. so, you know how you're not supposed to pick up hitch-hikers?
kristina and i got uber lost on the way to Cafe Revolucion. We were passing the bridge into Mexican Land when i spotted two guys walking along the side walk.
My heart stopped.
"KRISTINA!!!" i gasped.
"THAT WAS STU CLAY!! I SWEAR!!!"
"WHO??"
"THE DRUMMER FOR DAPHNE LOVES DERBY!! TURN AROUND!!!!!"
Several U-turns later, we caught up to the two guys and Kristina stuck her head out the window. "Hey, do you guys know where E_ street is?"
Stu shrugged at us. "Uh...we're not from here..."
Me and Kris looked at eachother and laughed.
"Do you guys want a ride?"
So we picked up Tyson and Stu off the side of the road, who were on their way back to the venue from Church's Chicken (they had gotten biscuts...lol). Okay. E_ street is like > < that long. It was no wonder we couldn't find it!! But Stu and Tyson got us there no problem. Then we dropped them off in front of the venue and got in line. A few minutes later, they came back and told us they put us on the guest list as a thank you for not making them walk all the way back...I also gave Tyson my camera battery which he charged at the merch table for me. (Stu later confessed, "Yeah, I didn't recognize you at first when you picked us up, but then i was like, oh! It's you!")
Andypants met up with us in line and we got into the venue.
WBD was fan-tastic as usual, but i was afraid i was gonna get clipped by Ocatvio who was jumping around and waving his guitar like a mad man...
A Kid Named Thompson played next, and the music was crazy cool, but those guys were kinda...weird. dunno. i liked 'em, though. fun stuff. :)
I didn't catch the name of the next band, nor did i take pictures...i was too busy dancing. their music was hella fun amazing to dance to. :D
THEN....THE SPILL CANVAS! oh yeah, man, that was soooo cool. stupid stage lights were off, and my flash is retarded. so these pictures weren't so great.
and then...DLD. *melts* even more amazing than last time.

um...the random dog guy is some crazy drunkard who came for the party at the Cafe after the shows.

so i LOVE dld. I made bracelets today...:3 cuz i'm lame and i love them so much. :D w00!
[whaaaat?? LOL breemo was a sock for halloween.] LMAO and i'd say today wrapped up the best week of my entire life.
oh, and i met this girl Amanda...it was cute, she was like, "take a picture of me and chaser!!!" i totaly felt like a celebrity myself, all these people were coming up to me and being like, "it's chaser!" XD (wtf? "being like"??? whatever.) but yeah, overall, it was the best concert ever.
we were gonna go to IHOP with the boys, but kris had to go home soon and everyone was tired...so we'll get together next time they come through town.
So after the concert, we were chilling with Tyson at the merch table while my camera battery recharged when Kenny came out and was like, "Christine, can you hold this for me?" and he handed me his acoustic guitar!!!! he didn't mind me playing it, so not only did i get to hold kenny choi's guitar, i got to PLAY kenny choi's acoustic guitar! LOL and i called him later that night to ask him if he remembered signing breanne's chicken nugget...he did. they all did. (she still has it, btw...) that was a funny conversation. and somehow i ended up with Jason's iPod cord. i don't even have an iPod. LOL but i love it anyway.
i don't have anything to do for halloween. i don't even have a costume. O_O i'll pull something together, don't worry...but i dunno. tab's having that party, but i'm not partial to scary movies or whatever. *shrug* yeah.
other than that, i love you.
