Helena, after being abruptly kidnapped by the Goblin King, Jareth, struggled to free herself from his grasp. She was very, very angry now. Not only had she technically been cheated on, but know she had been kidnapped by the last person she wanted to be with at the very moment. Things were not going well.

"Let me go!" she shouted as loud as possible ( Read more... )

Landing agily on his booted feet, Jareth looked over at the girl struggling in his arms. He slid his hand from her waist but didn't let it stray far, gripping her upper arm so that she couldn't run off. It was for her own good -- if she ran, she would become lost in the twist and turns of his labyrinth. They were in the very core, and only Jareth could work the passageways, arcs, and secret compartments without any difficulty.

"What is the problem, Helena?" he asked, smiling benevolently at her. "I told the masked idiot that my intentions were honorable, and after all -- you would make a fantastic queen. Sarah will never oblige, but you will do." His eyes glance over her form, and he smiles again. "You'll do."

Turning, he pulls Helena with him down a long stretch of maze with nothing but bricks and spiderwebs to either side.

"I'll do?" Helena inquired as she dragged her feet on the ground, attempting to stop Jareth from dragging her along the labyrinth. "I already told you, I don't want to take Sarah's place or whatever it is you want me to do."

She tried to grab at the brick wall that stood on either side of them, but her hand just seemed to slid right off, as if there was nothing the grasp at all.

Pausing, he glanced back at her. "Take it as a compliment, Helena. The reason I don't have a queen yet isn't lack of offers, chit. I am very selective is all, and you have a fine, ruling air about you. Don't you want to rule over an entire kingdom? Servants beckoning to your every whim? What girl could deny ever wanting that lifestyle? Hmm? I'm offering it to you. It's... a gift."

He stretched his hand out magicking a clear ball and balancing it on the tips of his fingers. "Look into the spear, Helena. It will show you your dreams. Dreams of ruling, yes?"

Giving Helena the crystal, Jareth began walking again, tugging on Helena's arm occasionally to urge her to keep up.

"Careful, Helena. My kingdom does have night and day, too, and I daresay this labyrinth gets much more tricky after nightfall. Do you want to tumble down into an Oubliette?" He quickly glances at her again, noticing her fiddling with the crystal ball.

Helena remained silent as she took the crystal ball from Jareth. Truth be told, getting lost in this place was probobly much worse then sticking around with Jareth, so for now she thought it best that she follow along with him.

As she starred into the crystal ball her thoughts seem to dissappear as small images began to form within it, as if it were a television. She saw herself, wearing a stunning gown, which normally she would have found far too dressy for her to wear, but at that very moment she couldn't help love every inch of it. She was surrounded by subjects, all praising her name. It was nothing like the last time she had played princess...
