...is a bitch.  I go back to work today (first time in two months!) and I'm freaking out.  Rationally, it's all good...but damn, I think I'm more anxious now than I was when I started there.  Ah, well.  Nothing to be done except just do it and get it over with.

One month, two days into this awful experience.  So far I have learned that my heart is strong, my blood pressure is great, my pulse runs a little high on average and that my cholesterol is good.  All good things.  I have also learned that I am diabetic (and now giving myself shots each and every day), that I have lost 20 pounds in muscle mass ( ( Read more... )

I am so pissed off.  Apparently, I've become "backup guy".  I'm a little surprised at how strong my feelings are about this...and no commentary or reassurances are need/wanted.  I'm just fucking mad and drunk and feel like commenting on this.  I will not allow this to stand.

Heading off the bed now...apparently Proposition 8 in California is probably going to pass, repealing gay marriage in that state.  That makes me sad.  But on a good note, I suppose, I did learn a new word tonite.  And I do like learning new words.
