I could do without REO....and especially without Journey.

But Styx has a new work out which they'll be showcasing....I guess I'll just go buy the cd.

REO is from my town...partied a few times with the band in the late 70s. I don't like the band since they threw out Gary Richrafh (the true sound of REO). And Kevin Cronin is an arrogant ass. I think the best albumn they did was the one with "Riding the storm out", and that albumn was done without Kevin. Seems at the time, Kevin just knew he could make it as a solo artist.....came back beggin after that albumn made the band famous.

I Styx.
:D
One plus about living in Bama...Tommy Shaw was founded in Montgomery and tends to come home to play from time to time :)
I drug all my friends out to Jubuliee last year to see them- they thought I was insane.
Like hELL is was going to miss a free Styx concert!!!

I've missed many...seen many, too.

Always depends on who they're dragging along for the show.

Seeing Journey without Steve Perry is like watching Led Zeppelin without Robert Plant. It just doesn't work.(sigh) I miss my old bands.:O(

me, too.

Did you hear Lynerd Skynerd (sp) is going to tour again?

I don't mind that someone in the group dies; that happens and doesn't detract from the band honoring the memory of that person by playing "harder" I guess would be a good word.

I agree, if they die they die, nothing can be done, like Grateful Dead, they are still around aren't they?

No, I didn't know about Lynerd Skynerd(sp), that's neat!!
