oh God....why do kids want EXPENSIVE toys?

well...looking around, maybe this isn't a bad idea....

it's rated for kids 5 - 13 years old and up to 180 pounds.

it certainly LOOKS fun.

Noah wants one for his sixth birthday (May 13) and I really don't know how to say no...especially since his old bike is a 14 inch and he's SERIOUSLY outgrown it.

I can't afford it either....but he NEEDS/WANTS a new bike...and most 20" bikes even at Wally World are around $75 and up.

and I'll be the only one GETTING him a b'day present just like last year.

as you can tell, his mom doesn't do shit.....didn't buy the boys any b'day, holiday, or xmas presents last year.

and the grandparents have their own agendas on BOTH sides of the family....well, there's only my mom, who's not really any better than the boys' mom, just older without the drugs -- and HER parents...well, we won't go there.

If it hasn't become apparent, I'm the ONLY parent these guys KNOW, much less understand. Bitter I'm not, except toward the system, but it doesn't let me be very hopeful either.

Those look really cool. Brian had one when he was a kid, so I guess they've been around awhile, huh?

I had one, too.....but this really IS a souped-up xtreme version...

up to 13 years old and 180 pounds? If he takes care of it, he won't need a two wheeler for quite a while.

Those are really cool....but yeah, the same cost as a bike.
But, yeah...they're cool!

you've got a good point.....all the stupid commercials do a great job of making it LOOK that way.

the only drawback that i can see is that if he wants to go on very many off road trails, he might get stuck. however, i think i'll drop a few pounds and get myself one. screw the age limit. i stll play on micky d's playground

interesting that you just commented.

if you get to walmart or toysrus, CHECK THIS OUT!!!

We just got back from a little excursion to explore OTHER avenues for Noah's birthday, but he's stuck on this like a fly on shit.

but you're right...it is beyond cool, and NOTHING like the original big wheel.

I want one, now.
