burn it, as in with fire, or burn, as to a disc?

While I'm sometimes liberal with word choice when retelling these dialogues, "burn" was a very specific word use here. I interpreted it as burn with fire and another interpretation didn't cross my mind, but hey-anything goes here, so it is best to consider all possible meanings.

Interesting. I'm very hesitant to get my genes sequenced by any company. I'd like to know . . . but not enough to do it. The unknown consequences (or some of the theororized ones) seem not as good to me as waiting longer ot see how this stuff gets used or simply that the technology gets better.

I do worry about the abuse of scanned beings--essentially a similar problem to abuse of AI.
