Oh, hey! How's it going? [gives them a cheerful smile, relaxing a bit as heads toward the counter] I brought you something. [holds up a bag of sweets because clearly when you want to get information from kids, you should bring the right sort of leverage. he's also looking at them, wondering how they're feeling this time]
[Though they were a little nervous when Oliver entered, the gifts and his cheerful mood seems to have eased them. They accept the bag quite happily, the sort of childish happiness that washes away everything else.] We're fine. Thank you very much for the sweets.
[They seem quite happy, coming around the counter and taking his hands. They lead him behind the purple curtain to a little room overstuffed with books and a table with tea ready. Taking their seats, they smile.]
[is quite surprised by all this friendly attention, but it's certainly better than the alternative. follows them and takes a seat as well. debates for a second whether to jump right in, but there's no real point in beating around the bush] Okay... Do you know what caused the rain? Or who?
Ohhh, that. [They frown and while they're still happy, they seem more confused now.] We...think the Machine did it. Or maybe Kaizer managed to make it work for him long enough to do it. [They huff.] It'd be like him to do that. But we didn't think he could use it yet...
