[Oliver is back to his usual self! one would hardly know he's just spent almost two weeks as a woman since now he is not only male again but looking much more like he did before the accident that caused his amnesia. he's even wearing his own 27th century clothing--he's made a stop back on Gondovan and found the personal belongings in his hospital

Sorta. Did I tell you the Doctor I 've got a merger now?

[Really, that's something Oliver is going to have to do at some point, but he's right. He doesn't have to decide right this second.]

No, ye don't.

[Jamie nods, and retrieves the bottle. No sense in letting things go to waste, after all.]

Besides, if you're going traveling with the Doctor, it's not like ye can't go when you're ready to. As long as the TARDIS lets ye get there, anyway.

[turns to Jamie in surprise] You think so? I mean...the Doctor's usually busy with things. [turns to take another drink from his own glass, his expression sour with sour memories of a Doctor who didn't take him home when he asked] You know, too much of the universe needs to be saved.

[bonnypiperlad]

[Jamie's also somewhat surprised, although it's more due to that sour expression than anything else.]

Well, aye, but I'd think he'd at least try to get ye there if ye wanted it.

[oliverplus]

[glances at Jamie] You think so? [his expression turns thoughtful--and as he's had a decent amount to drink by now, he shares those thoughts out loud] Well, he is the one who wants me to go. And he's different now...

[bonnypiperlad]

[This only proves Jamie is right, of course, but he's at least trying not to be smug about it.]

I'd not care to guess what happened to make him so, but he is different. If he's not willing to take ye, Oliver, he'd not suggest so. I know that much.

[oliverplus]

[nods] Yeah. Yeah...you're right. [again. clearly Oliver needs to talk to Jamie about his worries more often! he's still a bit uncertain, but his words are hopeful] Maybe it won't be so bad.

[bonnypiperlad]

Aye, now you see. [He reaches over to clap a friendly hand on Oliver's shoulder, then goes to finish his drink. Oliver will do just fine.]
