Probably should look into procuring some

[Oliver steps up to him, holding a banana and looking a combination of confused, stunned, and a little scared]

Doctor...? What's going on...?

[bit_impossible]

Ollie, I--well... [he trails off again, trying to act casual and nonchalant while he runs a hand through his hair for the nth time. he doesn't quite look over at Oliver, though] I've just brought back a place that I never thought I'd see again with my own eyes.

[oliverplus]

[Oliver stares at the field] You brought it here?

[because that has to be the explanation, right? the Doctor found it on some planet without Oliver knowing about it and brought it here. he tries to tell himself that, but...even he can tell that's not actually the case]

[bit_impossible]

No. [his expression changes ever so slightly] I created it out of thin air... [snaps his fingers] Just like that.

[oliverplus]

...how?

[bit_impossible]

[looks at him, concerned by that tone] I thought about it. I wanted it to be there on some subconscious level and there it was. Just how I remember it.

[oliverplus]

[Oliver is quiet for a moment, not sure what to say. he has too many questions--and too much worry wrapped up in them. softly, he finally asks:] Where is this?

[bit_impossible]

[the corners of the Doctor's lips curl in a small, melancholic smile] Where do you think?

[oliverplus]

[quietly] Gallifrey?

[bit_impossible]

[in a similar, reverent tone] One of my favourite places to go.

[oliverplus]

It's beautiful...

[bit_impossible]

[softly] It was... [pauses to correct himself] Is. Blimey, this is going to take some getting used to...

[oliverplus]

[glances at the Doctor] Can I go there? [he gestures at the field, not wanting to step into it without permission]

[bit_impossible]

[he smiles] Of course! Why not? You've got to feel the breeze, after all. And feel this grass. Come on! [pats him on the back and starts to run into the field, for a moment, allowing himself to remember a time when he was so much younger]

[oliverplus]

[smiles tentatively. when the Doctor breaks out in a run, however, he laughs and runs after him] Doctor!

Come on, hoof it! You've got to see this! [continues running until he reaches the trees]
