[Oliver is shocked by her sudden appearance--and by the noise that's come with it. he would comment on her impressive set of lungs if he weren't so worried] Donna, what's wrong!? What happened?

[forever_noble]

[somewhat incredulously] "What's wrong?" I'll tell you what's wrong! I was running away from these big green things--I can't remember what the hell he called them before we got separated--and the moment one of them got close, I shot this...[searches for a way to properly describe it]...dark ball of something at it from out of my hand!

[oliverplus]

[stares at her] You...you what!? [it takes a second, but it does soon dawn on him what that probably means] You mean you lost something, too?

[forever_noble]

[gives him a look that she hope clearly conveys that she's not going to repeat herself]

If you mean my favourite ring my best mate gave me, then yes, but what does that have to do with me shooting something like that?

[oliverplus]

[carefully keeps his voice very calm, putting his hands up placatingly] It's all right, Donna. You got the note, right? You got somebody's ability when you lost your ring. That's all. It's temporary!

Note? [she so didn't notice any note] Another one of those stupid notes from some mysterious person? I'm glad it isn't monkeys again!

[oliverplus]

Yeah, um... [fishes his out of his pocket--he's been keeping it close in case he needs it. he holds it out to her] This is probably what's happened. You lost an item, and you got somebody else's power--and maybe somebody's item, too. See?

[forever_noble]

[takes the note, reading it quickly. she's rather annoyed by it] So they swapped our items, then? I haven't noticed anything new or anything around the TARDIS. [but then again, that's probably part of the problem...]

[oliverplus]

[Oliver thinks of the same thing] Well...it is the TARDIS. I haven't found anything either.

But at least you know what you're missing so we can ask around!

[forever_noble]

[she gives the Plane a somewhat disparaging look] With the amount of rubbish around here, though, I might as well be looking for a needle in a haystack.

[oliverplus]

[quickly] No, it's not that bad! I've got a list going at the information kiosk. [optimistically] Maybe somebody's even reported your ring already!

[forever_noble]

Ohhh, look at you. "A list", eh? [she smiles teasingly] Go on, what harm could there be in looking? [though if others have lost rings...well...]

[oliverplus]

[pouts at her] Well, more people 'll see that than just remember to ask people!

[nods eagerly] Yeah, good idea. Let's go look! [he's already inching in that direction, even as he waits for her reply]

[forever_noble]

[sometimes, you remind her of an eager puppy, Oliver] Lead the way, Ollie-boy!

[oliverplus]

[grins] On it!

[and he is at that, leading her directly to the information kiosk] Here we are! [he gestures at the list rather proudly, turning to see what she thinks]

[reads the list] Is that it? [sounds a bit disappointed] I mean, I see a ring here, but it might not be my ring. I can't be the only person on the Plane who lost a ring.
