problem-solving on the Plane

[Meredith appears. She makes her announcement without stalling.]

Your friends have changed. There is one certain way to save them. Those who die will return to what they were.

[Does that make you angry? Too bad. The hooded figure has already vanished.]

No! There must be another way!

[Guess who else is here. As usual, there's that splash of crimson on his arm.]

Even an uncertain way is still a chance. I'm going to the shop. [He turns away sharply.] Don't do anything stupid.

They're telling us to murder our friends.

I'm coming with you. [He needed a voice of reason.]

Gwen-san ...

Someone you know?

Morgana. Morgana has been ... [She shook her head, sickened by the thought.] We have to save her!

Morgana --

[The girl in the woods -- her clothes were something like Gwen's?]

Tall, black haired, using magic to destroy the forest?

That isn't her. Not really. She would never behave like that.

[Just as he'd thought.]

She's not the only one changed. I've seen three others.

We can't just kill them.

Definitely not.

Inspector Menzies and I think this happened because the people effected ate candy from this place. If that's the cause, this might not be permanent or there should be some other solution.

We have to stop anyone else eating from the kitchen.

It's got nothing to do with the kitchen, Gwen-san. I found candy in my pockets in my world. Inspector Menzies found it on a colleagues desk. Hiccup-kun found it -- Hiccup-kun! I don't know if he's okay ...

Then we can't stop it. We can only warn people.

... Hiccup has been affected as well. I'm sorry.

Ah ... How bad is it ... ?

When I last saw him, he was trying to slay a dragon.

... ha. That's--

[Definitely nothing Hiccup will do willingly. That's more evidence for Conan's theory that the candies unlock something in their victim's mind -- but how? How could anyone purposefully do that? It should be impossible ...]
