Pitch stood at the edge of the ocean, looking out over the water and enjoying the feeling of wet sand between his toes. Maybe the climate around the beach was different from the rest of Reality Vanish, or maybe the weather in general was changing to accommodate spring, but it actually felt warmer today than it had in a while. Warm enough that Pitch had no qualms about donning swim trunks and heading out to play in the ocean. Regardless of the reason, today was a good day to swim. There was just one thing missing...
Pitch walked back to where he'd deposited his stuff and pulled out his communicator. He didn't know which number to reach X at, so he decided to take a chance and call the Reality Vanish one first.
