I can understand not blurting it out on the first date or anything but, after a certain point, doesn't it feel like you're lieing now?

Sure it feels like lying. I know it hurts to keep a secret, but think about the long term. What if you break up? Someone you no longer care about will know you what you are. Is that the kind of information you'd like to give an ex-boyfriend?

That's true, but you're also basing an entire relationship on lies and what kind of foundation will you have if it's already starting out with cracks. It's like a friend of mine from school who made these really high heels and the actual heel part looked like a teardrop. It looked good, but it didn't work. And you just ended up falling on your ass because you had no support structure. In the end, it just broke apart.

I love French boys too! They're sooo much more stylish than American boys, aren't they?

That's true....I wouldn't want to scare anyone off. I just feel like such a liar.

Tu l'adores déjà?

Love can certainly be broken by fantastical tales of genies and jewels.

We can discuss this when there's a ring on your finger.

But Velvet! When you're walking along the River Seine hand in hand with a beautiful boy, it can be so hard to control your tongue.
