btw- the vet says LuLu is in perfect health, and doesn't show any early signs of the typical "pug issues". thanks for your info. it gave me some direction to take when asking questions.
YAY for healthy dogs! Next time you see the vet, ask about her ears and also ask about Missing Link. Your vet would know if it's too early for this stuff, but my wife used it with the zoo animals like vitamins.
OH! and be on the lookout for butt dragging...probably means anal gland expression is necessary.
hmmmm.... i wonder if this would help my older dogs with their joint issues. the tech suggeted omega-3 and -6 in fish oil tablets. but this might give them the added benefit. those 2 will be going back in a few months for a whole round of blood work. they are both overweight, and we're going to try to get it off by reducing the calorie intake and exercise first. then, if that isn't working, a blood test to determine if there might be thyroid issues. i spent $600 at the vet yesterday, and will need to go back and spend another $600 in a couple of months. OY! dogs are expensive. but so worth the pleasure they give us.
