Saturday was my first official pottery show, where I had my own booth and everything. It was held at the Meier's Wine Cellars from 12-6, and it was a blast. Very very hot and very very fun. ( Story and Pics! What we ALL WANT )
"Breaking even" is so very relative. If we count cost of clay, then probably $100. If we also count the cost of classes that include firing and glazes, probably $1700. If we also include the time it took me to make these, probably $2200. But I'm not sweating it.
Let me know what you'd like, I'll make some fun chip & dip for ya.
i can't see the pictures. waaaaa!!!!! i would really like some nice serving bowls and platters. i love to make family style meals, but have nothing to serve them on. i can never find anything that just strikes me the right way when i go out shopping.

Out of curiosity, about how much do you need to sell to break even?
