Past two summers, I've selected a band on impulse that I wasn't much of a fan of beforehand... and I wanted to check out more of their discography to see if I could get into them and find out what I was missing. I explicitly searched out their records with the intent of sitting down with them, and going through them, processing it

Go with the Smashing Pumpkins. More specifically, Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness and Adore. Those are my personal favorites..
