It's clear that Envy seems to have some control over the process, though the how still makes no sense.

You know I'll help you try out any solutions you have in mind, though I don't want Ed hurt anymore than you do!

I've also asked the wizard founders for help, as you can see with Salazar's conversation with Pride down there, and they might be able to do it.

I hadn't thought of asking them, thanks. It'll be less dangerous than anything regarding alchemy, I think.

I've been watching the hotel and following Pride when I can, to make sure he doesn't attack anyone else. So far, he hasn't been as violent, not since he came back, er, injured.

He came out of this portal thing and he was covered in blood and not moving. But then, he got up in a few minutes and seemed fine? It was creepy.
