And then he met Jason. If there was one thing in his life he'd never regret, it was caving in to Jason's interest. The guy was rough around the edges, mostly crazy, a giant horndog, and had a tendency to blow things, and people, up as soon as look at them. And Kyle never wanted to leave his side.
And just when He thought it was impossible to love Jason more, he let him have this night with Connor, too. He smiled fondly as he entered the room, catching sight of the extra effort Jason had put in and walking over to lay a small kiss on his lips.
"Going all out tonight, I like it."

No, the differences weren't just physical, but in the way the both of them acted and carried out their lives. Connor was polite and compassionate, hiding steel inside, whereas Jason was all rough edges and bite on the outside, vulnerability hiding underneath the suit and the weapons and the attitude.
And he loved them both.
Running a hand fondly through Jason's hair, he gestured for Connor to come closer.
"I was half expecting to have to pull you out of there myself."

But now…
It was really hard focusing somewhere other than Jason's bare chest, his nipples surrounded by small, tan areolas, or the way the positioning of Jason's right hand drew the attention to his crotch. Kyle was still fully dressed, but the tight cling of his shirt reminded Connor again that while Kyle didn't need to work out to be a hero he always found the time.
"I didn't say it didn't, um, set the mood?" Connor nervously closed the door behind him and leaned against it. A closed door was good.
