The only words I have going thru my mind "only in America" its true - people are like machines here - they dont use common sense just like you said "followers" and its got nothing to do with corruption - its the fact that those people aren't educated enough and the people who are educated just fuckin dont care.
Marina, you are one of the strongest people I know. If someone pointed a real gun at me i would have fainted then and there. But you did the right thing by not stopping. I'm glad your ok. Your post shows reality - the sad reality of this country that the majority of the people that live here concider to be "okay". I'm really sorry you had to go through this - but you're very lucky to have people that care about you!

I still don't think though you should pull over right away, because the law says you have 2 miles to stop before it's considered running from the cops and also if you are on some dark ass road, why on earth would you pull over, they say to find a sercure place, they just were pissed off anyways, because the guy was fucking crazy. My mom one time drove for like over 2 miles before she finally stopped and she didn't even get a ticket, just a warning, but this cop, just blew it way out of fucking propotion, and next time he does it to someone, they are going to be a bad person and kill that fucker, because Karma will kick him in the ass, that's for sure.
its not right to just stop in marina's situation - in fact we had an assembly about it not too long ago - they gave us a number and said that if ur in that situation u should call it (its like the TN police dep.) and state ur location and tell them that there's a cop behind u and that u're gonna drive until u reach an agea with ppl and stuff, so what marina did was completely 100% right!
Yeah the black woman even said she should have called 911 and then they can tell you it's a real cop, but she didn't know that at the time and yeah, I mean she still did everything right to me, called the 2 closest people to her and yeah, got to an area with people.
Well, actually even though it's fucked up, when you pull someone over, you can search w/e you want to, it's not like a house, where they have to get a warrant. I have been in a car before where it has been searched, they can do that, but it's fucked up. Also, he wouldn't have shot her, but if he did, he would have made up some lie like she was getting ready to pull something out. I mean they told me to take my hands out of my hoodie, because I could have a gun, they are fucking INSANE!!!

OMG, soo much to say, but yet, you already know it all. I still just can't believe what all happend. I mean when I saw you in the cop car driving away, I had no idea what you were saying, but all I know was I felt like I was in a dream, because none of it seemed real, because you did nothing wrong and they treated you like you had just killed someone. I mean I wanted to help more when you were in those handcuffs, but I mean that one cop was soo fucking insane, I thought he would even shoot me, but I wish in a way he had shot me in like the leg or arm, because I would sue that mother fucker soo hard and he would be a goner. I just hope one day and hopefully before the court case, he is killed, a slow painful death, because of the way he treated you. When he was touching you and throwing you on the ground I wanted to stab him right in the fucking heart, because he needs to die, that cold hearted son of a bitch. I hate cops soo much, they aren't their to protect you, they are their just to be mean fuckers. I mean I don't even know of one

First off, they have to tell you what you're being arrested for before they arrest you. Second they can't arrest you if they didn't find any kind of drug or alcahol on your person or your car. Second, a signal ticket is a civil infraction... they can't arrest you for it. And, Josh, you're right you have about two miles before its considred evation. This cop needs to be sued. Not the department, or city, but this motherfucker with an attitude. Personaly I would request a public appoligy.... Jeezus fucking chirst... is this what humaity has been reduced too! Harassing young, hapless women. Makes you kinda wonder doesn't it... what does all this mean... are we really here only to suffer. Some say you learn only through pain. Latly I've seen this ring true over and over.

Im pretty sure the cop couldnt go through your stuff without a warrant.
And he couldnt shoot you because he would have gotten into a lot of shit.
