So yesterday i watched the movie, "Boys Don't Cry", the documentary of Teena Brandon who lived her life out as Brandon. I'm so obsessed with this story now. I'm just in awe, like is so shocking. I can't imagine. Her death took place in 1994, i was 5. It doesn't seem like TOO long ago, i can't believe thats how transgender/gay people were treated. I

That movie made me cry. It was terrible what happened to her.

Even though its so sad its intriguing. Whenever it gives now i have to watch it. Most likely because i'm just shell shocked that that actually happened. I feel so bad for what happened to her, she didn't deserve that at all.

I cried. It made me feel a profound sense of grief. That things like that can happen to you simply because you're different from the "norm."

It still hurts the brain to think that people really hate that much. And these people did nothing to them.

The story of Matthew Shepard is another one that I just was shocked about. How could someone do that to another human? And for what? Because he's gay?

Its insane. I watch that movie and it makes me want to cry. I cried twice the 1st time i saw it. Some people are just so fuckin ignorant
