Introducing... the kid with no name. Still. Not kidding.

Sep 15, 2010 04:24

what is the point of a hospital that has wifi but deliberately BLOCKS access to social sites like Facebook? *rolls eyes* anyhoo, OB decreed Sunday 'he shall be born', but she says she meant for him to show up sometime Monday afternoon. he didn't get the memo and arrived 6 hours later. no name yet, papa-person is in charge of that ( Read more... )

i'm calling him Gelfling, and i'm only partly kidding.

lucario is awesome, but boy-type person made a face, so i guess it's a no.

So CUTE! OMG XD I hope you're doing good, and I am so friggin glad to hear he's being kept just because he is a sleepy boy and nothing more major than that.

As far as names, I have always liked Geoffrey or even Leon. XD Though, Iruka woudl do quite well nowadays as a middle name

Also, you must tell us if you are registered anywhere for babay stuffs, and are you still in Houston? Doth thou happen to be hidden in the med center? Cause I'm gonna be there on Friday, and if you're at TCH, we MUST meet up so I can gawk over babay!adorable XD

aw man, no tch. up in the woodlands. that would've been awesome to see you, but unless his pedi has a personality transplant in the next 24hrs, we're not getting him out any time soon. she's pissed because i chose to be released instead of staying in the hospital like a good little mommy. *grr*

i like geoffrey, but manthing vetoed. i may resubmit it for consideration. leon is out - our friend's dad is leon, and that would be weird.

baby's first toy is a dolphin. no joke. it plays dolphin and ocean noises. and we're not really registered for anything. my neighbors lent me everything - i'm not kidding. they have all of their kids' clothes in their garage, sorted by size. cribs, car seats, toys, etc - it's like a BRU warehouse in there.

so go buy the rugrats a new bauble in honor of nameless baby :D

What a handsome baby boy. They always look so sweet all snuggled up in their swaddling blankets.

Here's hoping you feel much much better and will get the all clear soon so that you and he can go settle in at home. He's a good weight for being a little early. Enjoy the rest while you can. :)

thanks so much. i'm feeling good, just started blood pressure meds today so we'll see how it goes. edema is bad, but i'm hoping it will drain soon. being home is helping. sitz baths are amazing.

ummm, you had a birthday, dude! happy bday late. you almost had a birthday buddy.

kieran was my first choice (it was an alternate last time), but i already have a conor and it felt a little too matchy-matchy, yanno?

lucas is manthing's best friend's name, so that's out. roscoe? seriously? roscoe b. coltrane ge ge ge... you silly.

so i hear! and thank you :D hopefully when you are less enbusied and ill, i'll get to talk to you and catch up. i miss youuuuu!

i looove the name kieran. and a dukes of hazzard reference? you know i only turned 22 right? :P

secretly, i've always loved the name briar for a boy, but it seems to be a little too weird for most people's tastes.
