I do agree that Yuri is, at first, quite alarmed by the idea of two men together. It just seems like, in the first episodes where his engagement is introduced, that Yuri simply had never before *considered* the idea that he might like boys, so it's just jarring to him. However, I agree that he is very open-minded and this is why I see their relationship working...after Yuri gets over that little bump in the road. He just needs to accept that it's not as big a deal as he thinks it is, which would take some time, but it's certainly possible. (Of course you already know all my opinions on this from my fic, but anyway...) ^_^
