First,
Thank those of you who commented for the support.
I would have liked some tea, thank you.
I don't know what Centerpoint is doing but I do know that they didn't shut off the heat, so I just have to follow up and find out how much I owe. Ouch.
I have a couple people coming to give estimates.

Sorry to hear about this major headache. I'd be shocked if Centerpoint turned off the power/gas as I'm pretty sure it's illegal for them to do that in January. Did the heat go out and cause the pipes to freeze?

It wasn't CP. Heat went off, pipes froze, radiators cracked, water all over the floor. Fortunately it was first floor and not second.
