Last night, while me and Chad were going shopping, we ended up over at FAMU. And we went to a Kerry-Edwards Rally. As In we went to see Edwards. However, we have both already voted for Bush. FOUR MORE YEARS! It was cool just to see him, considering he was like 20 feet from us on the stage. He was over an hour and a half late though. Thank God hes ( Read more... )

If you're so much about homosexuality, don't you want someone who doesn't think it's a horrible sin? Don't you want someone who would let you get married if you wanted to?

For the record, George Bush said that he believes it is important to respect and accept everyone regardless of sexual orientiation in the 3rd Presidential debate. He accepts them, yet believes marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman, as does Senator Kerry. Correct me if I am wrong, but Tyler believes this as well. As a devout Catholic, I am sure John Kerry considers it a "horrible sin" as well; he has never said so, neither has Goerge Bush though. George Bush's instense conservatism is watered down by congress and the Vice President, which is what this country is all about, checks and balances (sorry for the history lesson:-)). Personally, i think its a breath of fresh air (that is, George Bush's firm morals and conservatism). American Presidents do not have the power to allow or not allow gay marriage/civil unions by themselves, so from a Presidential voting perspective this wouldn't even be an issue for Tyler. Focus on what's important, a strong commander-in-chief that will protect us and our families, so ( ... )

Sarah, my thing is. I dont believe in gay marriage. I believe in civil unions. And yes, this is coming from a gay man. Civil unions offer the same benefits marriage do. All we want are the benefits. It's the radical queers who are trying to get gay marriage legalized, only because they are attention getters. I could get a bf tommorrow and call him my husband..i could marry a guy tommorrow and call him my husband...I could civil union a guy tommorrow, and still call him my husband. It doesnt matter. I could easily call you my wife If I wanted to. Kerry isnt for gay marriage either. He opposes it as well. It just isnt played up because hes too busy making an ass of himself in other parts of his career. Irregardless of who wins this election, the gay folk wont be further ahead or behind. Oh, and yes. I do think Kerry bringing up Cheneys daughter in the election debate was uncalled for.

How in the world can you believe in Bush's policies. He doesn't even know how to pronounce words!! How could you be for a man that has cut jobs, looks out only for the rich, hates anyone that is not white anglo-saxon,and has casued our reputations as American's to be in the gutter. We have killed many US soldiers and Iraqi civilians for his pursuit of oil. He is not cut to out to be president. 4 MORE MONTHS

Kerry and Bush are two different people from one aspect. Bush speaks from his heart. Kerry speaks to what he thinks the people want to hear. Could you imagine Al Gore speaking the day of September 11th? He woulda been such a hard ass up there. So what if he mispronounces a couple words. I can guarantee you would be shaking, and would probably shit yourself to be in front of billions of people speaking. Were you the one in debate class who always shyed away? I mean. You didnt even leave your name, which shows to me how much of a coward you are. Bush didnt cut jobs. September 11th threw this whole country into a huge mess. He doesnt just look out for the rich. Did we forget Kerry has his own fortune? Not to mention he is married to that witch who looks like she just washed up on shore from Cuba? We need a real family man. Not someone who is divorced and then married into even more money. And, I am sorry. But all these negroes out there who bitch about welfare being cut. Hey, if you got off your black ass and got a job, then you wouldnt ( ... )
