Remember the good old days? When we used to stay up on aim, and sometimes I would send you some of my lame poetry? You sent me one once that you had written for Friedman's class. It was very dark, and I only remember a little bit of it, but since that day, I have always felt a deep appreciation for your writing, especially your free verse poetry, not that I don't like rhyme. I miss you Em. See you soon
i know which one you are talking about it's called "the day" this is how it starts:
the red balloon poops blood on the floor my heart is pouring onto the cold tiles' dust
pounding my heading is pounding eyes throbbing tears pouring i can't see anymore
hollow heart humming trying to drown the pounding the drumming
and... i can't remember the rest haha. yeah that was my silly teen angst (spelling?) phase. i've always enjoyed your poetry as well. oh, the old days! :)
