Shall see you for tango; social clashes with B-Movie but will see what I can do ;)

Dumb question, but is there any confirmation available relating to the Tango class? (ie did the cheque come in the mail before the list was full?)

Just popped here via Hester's LJ to say thanks again for a great day yesterday - even hubby claims to have enjoyed it, which is quite something!

Hi it's Natalya, we met briefly in St Albans...

I'm just spamming bytepilot's journal as I am planning a birthday picnic on Sat 5th August. Yourself and Russel are more than welcome. I can't remember if you are in Peru by then, but if not the more the merrier...

More details are here.

Hi; you don't know me, but I hear tell via easterbunny that you have a fantastic mackerel pate recipe. Is there any chance I could see it, please, if it's not a secret?

No problem:

Mackerel Pate:
Take:
1 packet of smoked peppered mackerel - skins removed and broken into bits
1 tablespoon of horseradish sauce (you can use hot radish if you want it spicy)
Juice of about 1/2 lemon
2oz of melted butter (I use much less, just over an ounce - or just less than a quarter pack of butter)

Put Mackerel in a blender/food processor
Add horseradish
Add lemon juice
Add butter
Switch on Blender
Put in a nicer dish than the blender and serve.

Ooh, brilliant, thank you! What's hot radish? Google seems to be contradictory on the subject.

Are you UK based or USA based?

Horseradish is a creamy sauce - much like mustard in consistency made from the Horseradish plant (popular in Japanese cooking)

In the UK you can also buy a 'hot' version of it - which is VERY spicy.
