I HATE that. Especially if it's in the bathroom and I don't know if it's from Jamie washing his hands or from him missing prior to washing his hands. *grumble*

I change them. Just in case.

HA. Yes. And then, to be honest, my OCD kicks in and i have to not only change but put the old socks in the laundry because a) dirty puddle water! and b) can't wash just one sock, the other won't feel the same or be the same 'cause it's unwashed *and*, c) once socks hit the floor on my feet they just cannot go into the drawer again.

Yup, very familiar.
Have to change the socks and hang the wet one over the edge of the laundry hamper to dry before throwing it into the hamper.
