It's been a couple weeks since the my last update, and I'm sorry to say, it ain't all good. This Coronavirus just isn't going away, and the governor had to scale back on reopening plans. I'll enjoy the reopened restaurants on the Strip while I can. Some resorts, like the Tropicana and the Palms (technically off-Strip but still a biggie) are still closed. Most have reopened, but not all the restaurants within, and some are considering closing again. And the governor has just ordered bars that don't serve food to shut down again. ( Read more... )

The trying times continue. My workplace has reopened with a skeleton staff, thus leaving me still on the sidelines. People continue to disregard science, medicine, common sense, and courtesy to others. No job, no travel, no Golden Knights, and no end in sight. Atomic Liquors has been a Las Vegas institution for 70 years, a divey Cold War throwback to when one could watch mushroom clouds eminating from the Nevada Test Site, offering a fine, wide selection of microbrews.
