I went to school today thinking that I'm just gonna drop my birth certificate off to financial aid and tie up the loose ends with them and secure my finances for the upcoming year. Well surprise, my financial aid was rejected due to a slight issue with taxes. But they were happy to inform me that I could reapply and maybe get some of my aid even

Long time no see. Sorry to hear about the financial aid bit - that's a bummer. Glad to see that you're not stressed over it, though.

I missed being at the Farm for Beltane this year - my current finances and a major trip coming up (I leave next Friday for Scotland, for 3 weeks) neccessitated tweaking other recreational-type plans. Ah, well. I hope to make it to Stones, though.

i am also doubting my decision to be in school. i just don't think it wise to be heading into a financial crisis/depression without a job. but then at the same time i can't make money without getting this degree. it is all so scary. i couldn't believe it when i got a $1,000 from the state. and i was told after only making 3,000 last year that i probably wouldn't get any aid. crazy. i remember when i went to college and got my first degree. i got over 16,000 in grant money alone.
