I do not know what's wrong with Galen, but it is growing tedious to an extreme extent. Locking her in her room has failed miserably, and I lack the energy to go find her at the moment

Isn't it clear, Alucard? Unless Miss Galen has been possessed previously or recently, she has developed a personality disorder due to the emotional shock.

Hm. If you care that much, Alucard, then do a bit of observation on my behalf as you are more familiar with Miss Galen.
Keep an eye of her overall behaviour, including level of affection and interpersonal contact. This will be necessary in order to define a clear criteria to give a diagnosis of which disorder she's manifesting.
While I am not in the level of expertise or experience my ancestor had, my father has always placed a special emphasis in the study of the mind to excel in our duty.

I will do so after I get some sleep, Sir Hellsing. It has been hard to pay full attention to the differences in her behavior when I'm trying to keep her from getting out.
