Another Town, another mission.

Other then the mission--I'm keeping up pretty well with Airmen duties. If there's anything else to be done, please direct them my way. I have some extra time on my hands.

Uh-huh, I'm from right outside the town. I told th...your captain where to get a good mechanic to replace me, so you guys don't have to worry about the engine going kaput. And staying warm wasn't a problem--we're at Licere, and the hot springs were nice! Until they became...lukewarm springs.

Oh, I finally found a job that's not a mechanic! This ship has a lotta tech stuff, and they need people who can specialize. I'm a technician!

I think I actually talked to him through a network post sometime around the Hanami Festival. He's quite intelligent.

A job that's not a mechanic, huh? Kinda hard to imagine you not being one, but hey. I'm sure you'll do fine being a technician.

It has. I think that was during Hanami or just before. The last time I caught a glimpse of you was at the Blue Stone saloon in Shasta. You were drinking with Nack. I lost sight of you after the fists started to fly! [Voice of happy memories--Hisoka was swinging a broken bottle and didn't leave till the DJ did. XD]
And I've been off the ship.
About a week after the brawl, I asked Captain Reynolds for a leave of absence and went to Bydan to visit my father. An old enemy of mine on the Amestris made a thinly veiled threat as regards my family, so I went and arranged for my dad's old militia buddies to come and stay with him until the Amestris left. I was planning to be back in a week, but my father and I...well. We hadn't spoken to one another in five years. I didn't come back until just before Serenity was bombed ( ... )

Yeah, the Serenity's headed for Bydan. I'm sure if we asked Captain Reynolds politely he might be kind enough to give us shore leave. It's been too long since I've spent time off this airship, in anycase
[Shore leave did sound good. He needed a break from being cooped up on the Serenity. There was a few moment's of static.]
