I've spent nearly a week with a very sick little munchkin, my 8 yr old. She spend 2 days this week in the hospital trying to shake a bad viral infection like the flu, which left her dehydrated and very sick. So glad your little girl is on the mend!

I have gotten better at saying no to both husband and my relatives. I know the feeling of working your ass off with no help offered. :(

First off your blog was very interesting! I have to say though that I am concerned about your little girls legs.I would ask a doctors ASAP. She has been in bed for a few days so it could be just that she hasnt used her muscles but my husband had rhumatic fever and he said his legs hurt so bad.It just scares me because ouchy legs can mean so many things.Glad your going to ask the doc....please blog what he says! Her legs seems so much better the last couple of days. She hasn't complained with them since Saturday morning. My guess it was the dehydration making them hurt, I've been pumping her up with vitamins and gatorade so she definitely seems much better and went to school today.

poor little baby:( it's heartbreaking when the little ones are sick and there's nothing you can do about it:((

good for you being guilt free about not having family over. your reasoning was on spot and the sky didn't fall because of it.

i'm interested in reading that book...is it 'churchy'?

I hope Chels is doing better, and that her legs are better. I agree that a trip back to the doctor's is adbisable.tho you've probably already done that. Big hugs for both you and Chels.

Hi :) She is much better after this weekend thank Goodness! Things seem pretty much back to normal although now I have her cold, lol.. go figure! Hugs back to ya!
