It's official... I HATE cutting my husbands hair! I have been doing hair since I was big enough to hold a pair of scissors, and professionally for about 13 years. He is DEFINITELY the worse client that I have EVER had. I told him last night that if he was a paying customer that I would tell him not to come back. He's SOOO critical of his ( Read more... )

OH the joys of a critical person under the scissors. :) A few months back my entire family was in getting a cut and the guy before us was driving the hairdresser crazy with his comments and complaints. She told me later he always does that, but just like your husband, he always wants this one lady to cut his hair
And the joys of being a GS cookie mom! BTDT! Rachel's father was cookie chair and it was fun but we'll never do it again. Love those thin mints though!
I'm glad everybody's better around your house.
Eat a cookie for me! :)

yes, sometimes you will get a customer from hell like that although, actually it's very rare. These people usually all fit the same criteria, not happy with life in general, generally wishy washy too. It's not our job as a hairdresser that makes us burn out, it's dealing with the people!!

Oh gosh, I would NEVER be cookie chairman, that's just too much responsibility keeping up with all that cash!

All abouts are my favorite :)

My 7 year old decided she didn't want to be a Brownie this year, so we didn't have the whole cookie thing. I missed the great way it made my house smell. Oh, well! Sounds like great weather. I can't wait for spring!

my daughter almost didnt join back up this year, she waited til the last minute to decide that she wanted to. She likes it when they make things, and hates it when they have to sit and learn stuff out of a book. She moves out of brownies into Jr's next year, so we'll see :)

I think J needs a dose of reality. I would suggest you just straight out refuse to cut his hair. My ex wife used to cut my hair, and there were times there were imperfections, however I had made a decision to be proud of my bride in all she did, and that included wonky haircuts.

I solve that problem these days by just shaving it all off. All except the beard. That stays. LOL

I've been cutting his hair for 2-3 yrs now and EVERY time he complains. I swear I think it's just for the sake of complaining or something. I mean, It's not like i'm right out of beauty school or anything, I've been at this for YEARS and it makes me upset especially when I KNOW there's nothing wrong with his haircut. Your right, I should just refuse to cut it :)
