celery has negative calories

  • celery
  • fruit
  • 5 km/day walk/jog/run (when my cardiac fitness has improved)
  • no more snacks, non-sugar free soft drink

what am i missing

you are not missing anything yet but you will be missing having functional knees if you go ahead with the "jog/run 5 km/day" plan

stick to walking or if you must jog/run do it uphill imbo

i was trying to work out what was more efficient but there are a great many variables

i'll stick with walking for the time being

the most efficient is sprinting around the block a few times a day but that is very draining and is the weight training to walking's calisthenics and also embarrassing

Fruit is actually really high in calories -- be careful with how much you consume.

drop the soft drink all together.

and i'm with polly - watch how much fruit you eat, if you're trying to drop sugars. snack on vegetables (carrots, for example) as well.
