Title: Momento Mori
House: Ravenclaw
Word Count: 100
Characters/Pairings: Tonks
Author's Notes: There may be a longer version of this at some point, because there is more I think could be said about it. The plot bunny attacked, but I wrestled it from rather inapproriate for children down to something much more melancholy. Tonks is on my brain because of some talk in other comms. (if people are interested, I will may let the bad bunny run free, although I'm sure others will catch on)
The house was empty, but for portraits which glared at her as she walked the empty halls. The others were busy elsewhere; she looked in on headquarters between shifts at the Ministry.
It took a while to decide to try it, longer still to do it. Focus was key, and emotions kept overriding her focus. "It is his house. And there are worse things I could do," she told herself before her final attempt. Such as do this when others were around.
Odd to become someone familiar, instead of a stranger. Tonks looked in the mirror; Sirius Black looked back.
