Did you know that when you score three strikes in a row in bowling it's referred to as a "turkey"? I learned this today when I actually succeeded in scoring three strikes in a row. Now, I know how some of my friends-- ahem, Abby-- feel about bowling as a form of social interaction, but something about it worked tonight. It was the usual suspects

so, yes, i hate bowling, it's true. i mean, just imagine being stuck with your 9th grade class, your abroad program, or any other group of people who aren't friends but are compelled to try "hanging out". what is the universal solution to that problem? bowling. i don't blame bowling, but i'm classically conditioned to loathe it. that said, i'd be willing to give it a shot (hah!) if it were with my friends. given my "skill" level at things like ping-pong, pool, and anything else involving hand-eye coordination, let's be honest, i'd suck at bowling.
