For the past few weeks, our dorm organization, CERSA, has been getting all pepped up for the Inter-Athletic Competition (IAC). Normally, the IAC is a school-wide sports fest wherein orgs have to battle it out against each other. But hot damn, CERSA takes it to a whole new level ( Read more... )

Me? Babble? I never babbled. I related in an organized manner. So shush.

Weight problems? Hmm. I haven't seen you in over 2 weeks... have the freshman 15 suddenly struck my little sister since I last left? (I'm allowed to tease you about your weight, by virtue of my having gained a shitload of weight too in Iloilo.)

Hero-worship? Eww. Genius is overrated. The general trend seems to be that brilliance is directly correlated to arrogance, while having almost no relation to wisdom and maturity. You know this of course, but... I don't think you KNOW it just yet.

Ooh, midterms. Good luck. Make it up with your exams.

But the geniuses i meet are nice. They're reluctant, actually. They only told when I asked them. In fact, Mr. UPCAT-topper hates having it mentioned! And Mr. Perfect-SATs revealed it only when I asked about how he found the test! Ms. Goes-out-of-the-county-to-compete-in-brainy-stuff helps us all in our math! They're great! (Tsk. Too much ADS for you.)

Wah! I hope I didn't gain. You be the judge of that when I come home this weekend...

But it wasn't just debaters (although it was mostly them, to be honest). Whatever. I'm glad you've met interesting, good people. So when the hell are you coming home? I haven't picked on you for way too long. I'm experiencing withdrawal... *shiver*

I so am the overall nerd in my batch. Add to that my reputation as a wierd crazy Indian Muslim and you can imagine how well-regarded I am in my sardine-like campus.

Let's just say that I study in a business-oriented school in the Yuchengco Tower of RCBC Plaza in Makati.

It's not so bad. Not much written exams for all subjects. The first time we undertook written exams, I got 112% correct. I am nerd.

About the people, some are hella cool and some are not, typical of all campus societies, but the main difference is that we are only ten in the batch, and two are graduates of Zobel (myself and one of our batchmates).
