Too many to count, 'specially since I'm not earning a cent. Meh. They're usually in the shape of a McFlurry, though.

if you really want some passive income as early as now, give dad or mom some money and ask them to invest in a mutual fund for you. a mutual fund is when some brokerage invests your money in the stock market in stocks that are expected to do well in the near future. they do all the research so you won't have to. they just get a percentage of the earnings from your investments. now's a better time than ever, the stock market's doing better than almost any other form of investment out there. and it's one way of stopping yourself from touching money you're not using right now.

About how much money do I have to save up first? I mean, to have a significant investment...

Ask around, different limits for different banks or brokerages. I think it can go down to as low as P2000 or so. The best thing to do is to save about P1000 a month to keep adding to your savings. Once you're 18, you can open a separate account that you can put your extra money before you move it to something that will actually grow. There are plenty of banks across Ateneo, take your pick.

Anyone want the PC version of Cashflow 101? I have been playing Cashflow in my crappy laptop for so long, it's almost a no-brainer to get out of the Rat Race. I am willing to burn people copies and personally deliver them, for no cash outlay, except for blank CD exchange.

Pat, it is great that you have discovered the Cashflow game. I personally played the actual board game a few times, and had fun while learning a bit about finances and stuff. Play it some more when you get the chance.

Ah well, I'm off to slave for earned income...
