[Over on Route 32/33 there is a Rhyme and her little Teddiursa fighting some pokemon. What's so special about this you ask? Well right after destroying yet another pokemon, Teddiursa begins to glow and change. Cue Evolution theme.

At the end of the evolution there is a terrifying Roar and where the once adorable bear cub was now, stands a giant

My Teddiursa evolved, apparently it's an Ursaring now.
[The giant bear looks into the screen, well tries too since it's so huge.]

That explains why you didn't know about Evolution then. Yours will evolve too if you want it to, I believe there's a way to stop it though if you want it to remain the same.
[Ursaring would smile but it's kind of unable too since all Ursaring's seem to have a permanent frown.]

So that's what it looks like when they evolve? Whew.

It makes some sense though, since bear cubs eventually have to grow up.

Wonder what mine'll turn into. I've had Java nearly three months now, she's gotta grow up soon. Not that we do much training.

That might be why she hasn't evolved yet, or she just might not want to. Sounds like you have an interesting little team though.

It is a bit sudden for Teddiursa to change into a fully grown bear. But it makes some sense at least.

Yes, her grown-up self doesn't look all that different. I wonder if her personality "aged" as well?

Yep, Teddiursa finally evolved. I didn't expect her to get this big though.
