I apologize in advance for not only how lengthy this app is, but also because it contains way too much of my humor.
Enter at your own risk I guess??

[Player name] Tora
[Age] 19
[Personal Journal] dickfires

[Character name] Raziel
[Age] Oh, just a thousand and a half years. Nothing big.
[Canon] Legacy of Kain
[Point in time taken from canon] Soul Reaver 2; after the death of Janos Audron.

[Background]
I apologize in advance.
I'd give you a summary, but there really is no way to summarize him. Or his canon.
Or Legacy of Kain, really.

[Personality]
The most prominent part of Raziel's personality has to be his moral code and his noblesse oblige; if he believes the people he's working with are, in fact, good - despite that word being loosely used in canon - there's high chance he'll treat them with respect and wish them no ill will. He won't harm who he deems to be innocent and unconnected to his paths or goals; however, those who cross him will be met with a cold, uncaring demeanor and a fast death. Possibly even anger, if you happen to harm him personally (such as Kain and the Sarafan had). If someone does manage to cross him (which is surprisingly not hard), there's a high chance he'll just attempt to take their life then and there, not caring what happens to them after death; he'll attack in a cold, quick, and almost frenzied manner, with no real fighting style - it's obvious all he wants is to end it quickly and to stop wasting his time.

Raziel is, unfortunately for him, very, very easy to blindly lead around for someone else's gain. His sense of righteousness and passion for his goals allows him to be led like a blind goat at times, believing that everything he does will be for a good cause. That's almost always never the case; he rarely ends up with unambiguous ethical actions and judgment, doing the wrong things for the right reasons. He's almost the personification of black and grey morality in this case, as well as the yin to Kain's yang -- Kain, who always does the right things for the glaringly wrong reasons. Above all this, however, Raziel is not the kind to double cross an ally, unless he believes he was double crossed first. Then, it's just exacting the proper payment. He is good to his allies, though; whether he likes them or not (until the time comes for him to call treachery, of course). Because he's been led around and double crossed so often, Raziel is, sadly, a bit bitter and paranoid of those who are trying to help him. The only person he revered with true kindness was Janos Audron; and that is only because Janos's whole purpose was to help Raziel, along with having the answers Raziel sought. To loop back around to the beginning of this, Raziel is well aware that he's easily led around, and he hates it; though really, this is only one thing he hates about himself. He's met himself from the past, after all; the amount of self loathing Raziel has is kind of unimaginable.
Imagine if you went back in time, only to see yourself kill your best friend. That's about how much he hates himself.

Despite being such an aloof and cold character, he's not one to dwell on things or some such - he'll often ramble about his surroundings quite a bit, but almost instantly discards unnecessary information. It's the same with people; if they have no answers or anything to aid him, he's likely to ignore or push them away. Along with this, despite being cold and uncaring, he's actually not very violent - unlike other characters that fall under this stereotype. He's more driven into violence instead of actively seeking it out; he sometimes uses violence as a threat to get his way, but never really acts upon it. He's probably just as likely to talk it out, if he believes the person he's speaking to is rational and willing to listen or compromise. Raziel is a rather intelligent character as well; able to easily piece apart puzzles and knowing many things that others don't. Of course, that's likely because he's older than dirt. Who knows.

[Abilities]
The Reaver - Raziel's wraith blade and symbiotic weapon - is (technically) his main ability. He's capable of calling it at will, as it resides within himself; however, if he lets it consume too many souls (or, for shits and giggles, as Raziel puts it: become too aroused), it will turn on him and consume a part of his own energy. It calms back down over time.
Raziel is capable of imbuing the Reaver with many different elements, with their own abilities there of; however, he needs a font to do so. A font is basically what an outlet is to a plug; he dips the Reaver in the energy flowing from the font, and the Reaver thus gains the element's energy. Dark allows him to create bridges of shade, light... is actually fairly normal, aside from being a nice reading lamp possibly, fire is obvious, and air can create blasts of wind capable of breaking down doors.

As a native of the spectral realm (spirit world, ghost realm, whatever you want to call it), Raziel is capable of shifting between planes. There is no location change; simply a plane change. He would still remain in Somarium, he'd just... be a ghost for a while. Running out of stamina can also force him into the spectral realm. I'm not sure how this would work in Somarium entirely (since I have no clue if it has a spectral realm), but it'd be nice to know.

He's also capable of mundane abilities; scaling walls like Spiderman, firing bolts and spheres of telekinetic energy, gliding from place to place, and swimming. Swimming is the more important one of note, considering he's a vampire wraith.

Also, he's capable of drawing souls in and consuming them from far away. I feel terribly sorry for any actual ghosts.

He's got an insane amount of strength - able to lift and move blocks of pure steel about his height - but it shouldn't be too bad in game.

[Other important stuff]
He's undead and undying; killing him simply sends him to the spectral realm, where he recharges his energy and returns to the material realm - or not. Depends on what he wants to do.
I have no clue how this would work in Somarium - whether it would change or stay the same or what - but I'm hoping to get a little modly guidance.
Also, strangely, he's immune to fire, capable of swimming underwater for freaking ever, and can somehow speak without a lower jaw.
Yeah, I don't know either.

[First Person]
- What do you think of your home world?
It was a beautiful land of plenty, a long time ago. However, that's hardly the case anymore.

- If you could go back home, would you? Why or why not?
It would all depend. All of the resources I could ever want are right here; even Janos Audron, here to answer my questions and help me upon a whim.
And yet, I do not understand all of these foreign concepts. Perhaps... Perhaps if I could return Janos with me, unharmed and alive, perhaps then I would return home.
Only if he were to stay alive and well.

- What were you doing before now?
Looking for answers and being forsaken time and time again. I was sent on so many chases, all after the same prize, and I the unchanging pawn.

- If you were to describe yourself in one sentence, what would that be?
A tired soul trapped with in a time spanned, grotesque carcass. It's rather true, unfortunately.

- If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?
Are they suicidal? Frankly, they would receive what they appear to be begging for.

- Would you consider yourself a power hungry individual?
I hunger only for answers, never power. Answers, and the occasional soul.

- Someone comes to you to ask for the time. How would you respond?
It would depend if there was a clock around. It's not as though I carry one around with me; that would be encumbering.

- Someone is trying to rob you! What do you do?
I own nothing to be robbed. Though, since we're assuming, I would take what's rightfully mine from them, and teach them a lesson they seem to not yet know.

- If I offered to save your soul for a price, would you go with it and why?
Never. My soul has been "saved" enough, thank you.

- Do you stand up against authority, go against all odds, and if you could, pierce the heavens with your fighting spirit? If not, would you if you could?
You make me sound much more youthful than I am. As far as I am concerned, I do not answer to any "authority"; my decisions are mine alone.

- Would you consider yourself a hero or a villain? Why? Neither is an option as well, but still tell why.
Neither. I walk the path of my choosing; whether others see me as a hero or a villain is for them to decide.

- If you could have any super ability, what would it be and why?
Out of the usual cliches? Flight. Gliding can really only get you so far; and it's thanks to that bastard, Kain, that I cannot fly despite possessing wings.

- You're asked to take someone out for a date. Do you agree? If so, describe what you would do. If not, tell why.
You mean an outing, correct? May I ask why? Despite the immortality, I have no time for frivolities like this.

- Your country is in the middle of a war. What do you think of it? Do you support it or try to solve it yourself by going on an epic quest? Explain.
I would keep my nose out of their affairs. As I have said before, I walk the path of my choosing; which does not include fighting in someone else's petty war.

- You are on the verge of death. You know there is no way to survive and there's no coming back. Choose any of the following to answer: Your last regret?
Letting Janos die as he had. No one should die at the hands of an ally; whether their ally knows what they are doing or not.

- You are a given a mission. Would you complete it effectively or would you goof off and do something else? Expand a little on the response.
It would depend what the mission is. If I benefit, I would complete it to the best of my ability. If not, well... they might want to find someone else for their little job.

- Murder. What is your opinion?
I think nothing of it. If they die, they die; it does not matter how.

- You have two options: either save your friend who is hanging from a cliff, or chase after the bad guy who put them in a position. If you choose the former, the bad guy will get away and it will be hard to catch him. If you choose the latter, the cliff will crumble and the friend will fall to the spiky rocks below. What do you do and why?
I would save my ally first. No one can get away from me, after all; I would find the wrong doer in due time.

- You discover someone stalking you. Do you call the police or deal with it yourself?
I would easily deal with it myself. Besides; it would depend on what their reasoning is.
Kain has stalked me throughout time itself, after all.

- What is more important to you: having friends or living on your own? Why?
I don't entirely care. Others can stay with me if they wish, and I'm capable of living on my own.

- The hottest boy/girl in class/workplace just confessed their love to you. How do you respond?
"Hottest?" Are they on fire? Why would a person walking around alight confess their love to me instead of taking care of their obviously more important needs instead?

- You just got a challenge to fight from one of the strongest gang leaders around. Do you accept or reject? Why?
I would reject. I don't have time to play games.

- There is a cake in the rain. What do you do?
Why is there a cake in the rain, exactly?
Not entirely the oddest thing I have seen, and yet still perplexing.

- Would you consider yourself a well traveled person? If so, what are some of your favorite places? If not, would you want to travel or is there some place you want to go?
I have gone through time itself. Would that be what you consider "well traveled"?

- Do you prefer adventure or the peaceful life?
It doesn't matter what I prefer.
Because of my constant philosophical pursuit, I tend to be thrown into an adventure anyway.

- Do you prefer the city or living out in the country? Why?
I don't live anywhere. I'm certainly more nomadic than anything else.

- You are suddenly told you are the child of an ancient prophecy to save the world. How do you feel? Will you embark on your journey? Or would you rather shove it onto someone else and run away? Explain.
Oh, please. This would not even be the first time I have heard this.
I'd rather not be a Vampiric messiah, thank you.

- If you could destroy a city, how would you do it?
It would depend; what occupies the city? Is it a human dwelling, or a vampire one? If it were humans, it wouldn't be a difficult task at all.
They're rather fragile creatures, and tend to kill themselves, anyway.

- If you could fight in a giant robot, what would it be and what would you do?
What is a "robot", exactly?

- You're dirt poor and your family is starving. You have a chance to steal bread. Do you: a) ignore it and get a job, b) steal it anyway because you know you won't get caught, c) get caught but break out of prison anyway, d) steal it and then hide from the creepy cop that keeps stalking you, e) don't steal because stealing is wrong :(. Explain why you chose that option.
I have no family.
My family was killed centuries ago at the hands of Kain.
So I suppose my option is F. Forget about it.

- You see a bloody knife on the floor. What do you do or think?
It would depend on the size.
A large knife would make an excellent, if temporary, weapon.

- Would you consider yourself a lover, a hater, a sinner, or a saint? Or maybe a mix of both?
I'm sure others think of me as a sinner and a saint; it would depend which side you speak with.
As for myself, I don't particularly care.

- Is the best part of waking up having Folger's in your cup?
...
I'm starting to slowly hate you.

- You are forced onto the dance floor and you MUST dance or the most important person or thing will be destroyed. What do you end up dancing and to what music?
Ah; and now whoever invented these questions is attempting to either humiliate me or make me uncomfortable.
A simple ballroom dance would suffice, yes?

- If you could change your current lifestyle or job career, what would it be?
I have no "job" and my life is unending.
I suppose, then, my answer would be that I would die.

- Do you have any future goals or dreams? What are they?
I simply wanted to rest in peace, until I was thrown into my putrid carcass to fulfill the whims of a giant, fatalistic, squid and his decrepit, manipulative lackey.
Can I simply wish to be put out of an unending hell? I would not even care if that meant living in another world for eternity, as long as the talk of messiahs and the Wheel of Fate end.

- Am I asking too many personal or strange questions?
There is no such thing as a personal question for me, anymore.
However, as for strange, yes. Yes, you are.

- Oh look, there's a double rainbow! [For this prompt, write how your character would react if someone randomly shouted and pointed to the sky saying this line.]
I wasn't aware rainbows still happened. I haven't seen a ray of sunlight in eons.

- Can you surpass God?
If God really is a giant squid, then yes, I like to believe so.

- Also, your thoughts on symmetry?
Trivial.

- Some angry birds come to you to help them defeat some evil green pigs. Do you help them out?
I'm fairly certain birds are incapable of speech in the first place.

- What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
That would depend on the type of swallow, wouldn't it?

- If you could be superhero, what would your codename and special power be?
I'm not sure what this question means.

- Do you believe you can fly? Do you believe you can touch the sky?
I believe I used to be able to do either of those things, until I had the bones forcefully ripped from my wings' fragile membranes.

- Oh no! Someone tripped and injured themselves right in front of you! What do you do?
I would ignore it, unless they were of importance. Even then, however, I'm sure my allies aren't infants.
They can handle their own wounds.

- Hey, did you hear about that giant sale going on? Interested? What would you want to get?
I do not care for things like this anymore, and even if I had, it would be much easier to simply seize what I wanted.

- You find yourself on a robot unicorn. What do you do?
Again, I don't understand what a "robot" is. However, I know fairly well what a "unicorn" is, and that they do not exist.
Should I find myself on one, I would most likely question what else may be real that we thought to simply be myths.

- Would you prefer being the stalker, or the one being stalked? And what would you do?
I have been both, and I care for neither. However, should I be in the position of the stalker, it's most likely an attempt at stealth to end someone from behind.

- You find yourself with a cute, little penguin slave. What do you do with it?
Free it. If it wishes to stay with me, so be it; I do not want to be responsible for its death.

- Do you believe in the magic of friendship?
This isn't a fairytale.

- How is space?
This question makes no sense; I hope you are aware of that.

- You are told that this is a dream world, but you must go deeper. What are your first thoughts?
Go deeper where? Is there anywhere to go deeper?

- What disgusts you the most?
Treachery. Treason. Mistreatment of close allies. Betrayal.
There is a common theme, I do believe.

- What pleases you the most?
Getting what I am searching for. Especially if the search was long and difficult.
Though, I won't deny an enhancement to my abilities either.

- How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
You know, I'm rather close to chucking you.

(I couldn't think of an answer for the last two LMAO. I ALMOST ANSWERED THEM ALL.)

[Third Person]
It has been a few days now, since Raziel found himself in this strange world. Another delay to his terrible fate - he won't argue that he both abhors and graciously accepts the change. This world really isn't bad, per se; his abominable hunger has been dying compared to the pangs he felt in his own world. And there are more than ignorant humans wandering the open streets of the city as well, so he likely needn't worry about striking fear into the natives of this realm. Not only that, but his old mentor and whom he knows as his only true ally, Janos Audron, is also alive and well. If it weren't for the fact that Kain resides here as well, Raziel would almost assume this is oblivion; where souls really go when they aren't consumed by the parasitic hub of the Wheel of Fate. He's actually quite grateful to have him around. Not only does it mean more answers to his unending questions, but also a powerful ally, should he need one. Of course; this all has nothing to do with what Raziel is currently up to - it never does. Simply the reflections in the mind of an old and tired soul.

What Raziel is really doing, is finally taking the time to inspect the odd artifact that bound itself to him upon his arrival. A "Dreamberry", they call it; currently taking the form of an armlet, shaped as the symbolic Ouroboros and consuming itself around his arm like a binding snake. It transforms when he thinks to use it, luckily; it would be tiresome if he were to need another set of magic, simply to reside in a realm he did not choose to exist in. He's noticed that it's a little difficult to use for a creature such as himself; its keys are much too small for the monstrous claws inhabiting the ends of his Vampiric hands. They seem as though they exist merely for smaller inhabitants of this realm - or, more simply, humans. To be useable for himself, he mused, it would have to be uncomfortably large in its active state. Luckily it has other uses more normal to himself; a state where he can simply peer into it and see who it is he's conversing with, no matter how far away they are. While not used to it as a form of communication, he is quite used to peering into windows across time and space. Whoever created these devices must be quite adept in magic; or, on the converse, technology. He's yet to see humans advance past the basic lift in that field, however.

He opens his claws in front of him, the artifact lifting from his arm and transforming, to place itself in his palm like a dutiful companion of sorts. It has no tangible feelings - not like the Reaver and its constant swaying and at the same time, separate emotions. He can feel the artifact's presence always, but not like that of his symbiotic weapon. It simply decides to attach itself to him; like a bur from a field, or a communal parasite. Not that Raziel minds in particular; it's rather handy to have around. Not only does it allow him to communicate across space with whomever he wishes at the time, but it also seems to catalog his position, allowing for ease around this labyrinthine city. Along with many other uses, of course; but he's yet to try everything out - or in this case, bother to. He can't imagine anything else that wouldn't be a waste of his time, after all; despite its manual listing many features.

[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Because not only do I have friends here, but this is the only game with castmates for Raziel. Also the setting is nice and big; Raziel would be hard to play in a small area.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?]
"Keep mature content out of the main comm."
thankyuothankyouthankyouthankyou-- I mean. Um. This is something I don't see in a lot of games, and it's kind of refreshing, to be honest.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] Everywhere. Well no; I have a bunch of friends in Somarium. Also Lae.
[Any questions?] Nnnnone here! Other than the ones kind of hinted at; such as I have no clue how some of his abilities are even going to work in Somarium because I'm kind of dumb like that.
