UPDATE: I reccomend excersizing caution regarding the Hardware Gifts in light of "Recent Developments", to put it politely. This may yet change again, I don't know - but I'd hate for someone to eversokindly buy me the CPU or RAM or something, and then find I lacked the funds to build the rest of the machine anyway, if you get the idea... I think DDR2 works best in pairs on AM2 sockets, so you may want to buy a pair of 512mbs instead of a 1gig.

Oh, and your stores are overcharging you over there.

This case, listed at $372nz, goes for $100 USD here. You can get it for $50 USD if you buy it straight from the manufacturer.

Generally, hardware in NZ is rather expensive. It's the cost of being a small market a long way from the big markets.

Still, I'm usually willing to pay - you may get it cheaper direct, but it comes at the cost of having no return policy.

...Then again, on a case maybe that's not a big deal? Well, assuming postage works out - I imagine it wouldn't be cheap to ship. Uh. You able to dig up a link for buying direct? When I poked around their website all I could find was vendors.

Sadly, the link is US only. Here's a direct link to the case.

It does come with a warranty. 90 days only however. It's also a Bstock case, which means it could have minor blemishes on the case. I can't even see any on mine though.

I had to use the warranty on one of the cases I bought, they were pretty fast and efficient on the return, but it might be cost prohibitive to do it internationally.

Edit: LJ and I had a disagreement, so you can find the "gift registry" here.
