I wish I knew how to help you...but your choices seem to be all of two. Continue working it out or letting be what will be (que sera sera! YES, I know French... I'm so badass... ;o). If you have confidence in figuring it all out, then I see absolutely no reason why you shouldn't continue trying. I just don't want the hurt to override the...good things, good outcomes, etc. of these endeavors. That's hopefully what Chrissy was trying to say, just doing it poorly. I think you should go for it; whatever your heart tells you to do sweetie. There's no one better than yourself who can do that.
And my heart does tell me to fix this, to get past it and move on because we are capable of being fantastic friends. I just can't do it all, I can't take all the burdon or snap my fingers and make it go away, it's a duel thing. He can't fix what he can't see (and i'm not saying he's wrong or it's bad) but I can't do anything but step back and walk away...hopefully I won't have to go far...
I thought of this...it's kinda like in the movie The Mexican where Roberts asks Pitt, if two people really love eachother but just can't seem to get it together when do you say enough is enough? the answer...NEVER
