So, it's been about a week and a half since I last posted for real. Since then, the major development in my life has been coming in 3rd in the Star City Games Amateur Challenge Magic tournament. It's good that you're feeling alright about the surgery. I've talked to a lot of patients who have had similar surgeries, and I also read a guy's account of his laparoscopic gall bladder removal. I've come to the conclusion that what makes a surgery seem good or bad is not actually the surgery itself, but the outlook you have going into it and care you get afterwards. Lots of psychosomatic effects, really. Just make sure to keep a sense of humor, make nice to the nurses, and be your usual lovable self. ;)

Good luck with your surgery & teeth-pulling! It sounds like a lot -- I hope you go through it with the speediest of recoveries. I'll be thinking of you! & let me know if you do come into town, it'd be fun to get together for longer than last time. :)
