Hey, you guys :)
Firstly is anyone else getting really nervous about the S4 costume spoilers?
The dress Gwen is wearing definitely looks like the coronation one we saw her in last season, and I don't much like what that suggests. I seem to have gone and got myself all emotionally invested in Merlin/Arthur and I don't want to have to face some huge development in the Gwen/Arthur relationship yet (or, you know, ever. But mostly just not yet). I'd love to see Arthur acting all kingly and being in charge of his people and his kingdom, and I get that they have to move the story along after three seasons of the same sort of thing, but really all I want is a couple more seasons like S1, with plenty of Merlin and Arthur in epic destined love with each other and everyone else being ridiculously bubbly and no angst to be found anywhere. I miss it.
So yeah. My fear of change, let me show you it.
Secondly, I've just realised that this is going to be the first time I'll be in the Merlin fandom when a new season is airing. I AM EXCITED :D Hopefully I'll be able to find some almost-certainly-illegal means of watching it along with the rest of you, because I don't think it's likely to air in Australia until next year.
Oh, and I have to put some of the Rupert/Eoin/Tom orgy photoshoot from yesterday on my LJ. It's just. Their faces and their hair and their banter and their shirtlessness, you guys. I didn't think it was possible to love the Merlin cast more than I did already, but then that interview happened. Gay Times, you asked all the right questions. :D
I do hope all this gratuitous shirtlessness will be spreading to include Colin at some point, though. Just saying. :D
Aaand finally, who's signing up for merlin_games? It looks like it will be really, really, ridiculously good fun, but I can't decide which team I want to be on. They all sound so tempting.
