I kept looking for a "Rise Up!" coffee mug, but had to settle for the "Wait for it" version. I figured I should buy plenty of merch, since the tickets were so ridiculously affordable.
Oooh, at the first "Alexander Hamilton", they have to stop everything for awhile until the crowd can calm itself. Same with "Immigrants: we get the job done." Magnifique!
Ooh, what a lot of nice things. That's wonderful! :) I'd only ever heard about the Count of St. Germaine from "Foucault's Pendulum". Those legends ought to be fun, yes!
You know 100% more than I did! I think I'm going to enjoy reading up on this guy. Oh! Also, MiAmor came up with a great Spuffy Roller Derby AU idea: Slayers vs. Vampires!
Yes, I think those are the ones Barb was talking about. The guide was trying to sell the idea that he was the inspiration for Rice's Lestat, but Barb was having none of it. ;-)
The Running of the Bulls was pretty much a hoot, extended by the fact that all the participants were wandering around town the rest of the day, playing tourist with us.
I'm not sure where you are, but the show is touring around. Our version is headed to LA next month. I did try to buy tickets when they went on sale, but the only options were over $500 per ticket, so I decided to take my chances with the lottery, and chance was with me!

It seems everyone had a good time in NOLA. I hope we here in the north east will be able to have a get together as per nauti's suggestion.

You definitely should get together over there. Preferrably when I can come, too! I do have a sister in Brooklyn, after all.
