OK I'm up early because I'm worried about Kiera....There's a little girl at school who used to be the sweetest thing until she became really close to a girl who is also a friend of Kiera's. Oh Rebecca, your heart just breaks when your child is hurting, doesn't it? As old as I am, I can still remember how cruel little girls can be. Boys aren't like that, at least I don't think so.

I think you're wise for seeking an intervention. I'd do exactly the same.

Now, try and table this for now though and go on your trip and have a blast. I just know you're going to have so much fun--you deserve it because of how hard you've worked with school, etc. Hugs to you sweets.

I remember girls like that doing that kind of crap to me at school. You might want to have the school talk to her parents. It's either the girl is jealous of Kiera or that she's transferring whatever is wrong in her own life onto Kiera.

The school DID talk to the parents, and the principal, school counselor and teacher talked to this girl individually and with Kiera. They're going to work it out. This little girl has a lot going on, and I understand. But there's no excuse for her to treat Kiera that way. ugh! Thanks!!
