Wow.. I really liked your poem lovely lady! It is pretty deep and meaningfull. I agree with you about feeling lazy with free form poetry. Not that I write much poetry, but it is so hard to stick to the forms and rules of strict types. I might try writing a haiku one day haha.

Hey Beck, I enjoyed the trip to the library as well and I found it interesting going down into the libraries vaults. I think it’s interesting that you thought that part of the day was like a book you had read, because I found it reminded me of a scene in the original ghost busters film when they meet the ghost in the library. It was a bit dark and spooky and I imagine if you where by yourself down there it could be a bit creepy maybe. Anyway my favorite part of the excursion was actually after we finished for a walk thought the botanical gardens and down along the harbor. It was a beautiful summers day and it made me think about the way they often put on a performances of “A Mid Summer Nights Dream “ in the gardens , although at night of course. Se Ya.

Wow, you are so right!! When you write a sonnet then go back to free verse, its so hard! Its like you dont have the saftey net or the rules to follow. It seems you are like me and kind of enjoy the rules? Even if its the rules of the sonnet or haiku? This poem is beautiful, little lady. Keep up the fine work :)
