A few weeks ago, a friend gave us some extra packets of Indian food - a very spicy tomato and eggplant dish. One evening, I offered it to Jonah with some plain yogurt. Today, Jonah missed school to go with Amitai to a rally with Michelle Obama. Amitai got a press pass (because of the big camera), so they had a great view and were then escorted up to the front. On Thursday, Amitai had surgery for a deviated septum. They kept him overnight for observation because he had low platelet counts.
