Books are better than pieces of toast. ;) Which leads to my question: did your Andy Warhol book from The Book Depository arrive yet?

:)

My book ended up arriving on Monday so it took a total of 19 days! I just ordered another book from them yesterday so I will be timing that one lol. How is your book flattening going? Any do not bend stickers on the mail box yet?

Haven't checked. Waiting until Australia Day/Chinese New Year before I haul my box out of my bookcase to check. =)
As for the Do Not Bend sticker on the mailbox, nope. It'll probably wear off in the rain, anyway. I want to buy some Charlie and Lola picture books from The Book Depository (since they're so expensive here - I saw a 4-pack in the ABC Shop for $49.95!), but I'm paranoid that the stupid mailman will ruin the spine . . . it won't fit in the mailbox; I tried last night with my copy of Whoops But It Wasn't Me. You think The Book Depository will stick Do Not Bend on it if I ask them to?

Ah cool - flat books will make the public holiday all more celebratory!

Wow I can't believe Charlie and Lola books are so expensive! I think I am willing to sacrifice sometimes slowish delivery fom The Book Depository just because they are normally so much cheaper. Would be good if our exchange rate went up a bit more though :)

Yeah I would think if you requested a Do Not Bend sticker they should be pretty accomodating. Don't want any more squished books!

No, no there isn't. I'm having some right now, despite trying to wean myself off of bread. Sometimes I just want TOAST. I have it earlier in the day so it doesn't go straight to my thighs hahaha.

Russell Brand ftw!!
