The crew of the Obama
have arrived, and I have finally come face-to-face with the personnel who have crossed over from what some refer to as “the Federation Universe.” The analog of Luke Spiegel quickly moved over to analyze my work in preparing their vessel for departure. The analog of Madalyn Wang has clearly been badly beaten; either directly by, or under the orders of, her original “Mad Maddie.” The Klingon hybrid, who does not correspond to anyone whom I've met on or off of Terok Nor, clearly doesn't trust me.
Not one of them has met my gaze, responded to my introduction, accepted my offer of medical help, or expressed gratitude for the repairs I have done to assist in speeding their departure. Not one of them has so much as said a single word to me. This does not bode well for my intentions to depart this universe with them.
If an alternate plan is required, I believe that I could easily overpower both Spiegel and Wang - but the other woman looks like a far more formidable opponent. She has left the Obama and returned to Terok Nor, meaning that it is possible that she will be recaptured or killed, and that the other two will be forced to abandon her. This would work in my favor, as she clearly mistrusts me and would be most likely to oppose my returning with them. However, even if she returns and attacks me with her d'k tahg, I have the
sonic weapon which I
stole from Spiegel.
As the final fallback position, if I am left behind in this universe, I shall at least be able to report back to my superiors about this encounter, and provide them with some Federation technology to adapt in the continuing war against the Alliance. I have the sonic weapon, and all of the files from the Obama's computers that were copied by Grace while I worked on the warp phase inducer relays.
